How To Use Burdock For Hair Loss?

Burdock (Bur and burdock root extract) roots have fantastic healing properties, it has been used by Chinese people to treat many health ailments like measles, tonsillitis, etc. Its antioxidants properties have been used to prevent disorders while promoting overall health. b) Use this as a conditioner and rinse it off after 15 minutes.

It can be added to the water and applied to hair scalp or applied directly.

Tip 4: Burdock Root Oil

This Oil when used in combination with rosemary, sage or lavender boosts scalp health and encourages hair growth.


a) Apply oil to your scalp mainly targeting the thin areas.
b) Massage it on your locks and leave it overnight.
c) Wash it off the next day.

b) Add 1 tbsp of dried burdock root in 1/2 cup off of boiled water.

a) 2 egg yolks
b) 1 tbsp mustard oil
c) 5 tbsp burdock oil



a) Mix egg yolk, burdock root oil and add mustard paste.
b) Apply this mix on your locks focusing on the hair roots.
c) Put on the shower cap and a towel.
d) Keep the mask for about 2o to 30 minutes.
e) Use this hair mask once in a week for nearly seven weeks.

Tip 6: Sweet Almond Oil + Vitamin E Oil + Burdock Root Oil

You Will Need:

a) 5 tbsp burdock root oil
b) 5 tbsp sweet almond oil
c) 2 tsp vitamin E oil



a) Combine all oils and massage it over the scalp.
b) Spread the oil mix to your locks length.
c) Keep it for nearly 2 hours.
d) Rinse and condition of your locks as you usually do.
e) Repeat this oil remedy once or twice a week.

Tip 7: Banana + Burdock Root Oil

You Will Need:

a) 7 tbsp burdock root oil
b) 1 ripe banana



a) Blend banana in a blender to form a paste.
b) Add burdock root oil and massage it into your scalp.
c) Spread the mix to the hair length.
d) Put on a shower cap and towel.
e) Wait for at least 1/2 hour and wash your hairs usually.
f) Do this once a week.
